During our track out this year is the magnet school application period. \u00a0Students took home information today about a specific magnet school, and I am putting some more information here for your perusal. \u00a0Students also received their base school assignment today. \u00a0This is the school that they are scheduled to attend next year unless they are accepted into a magnet school.<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
I highly suggest taking a look at your middle school options, and seeing if there might be a school that is a better fit for your student and your family. \u00a0There are many options, including many that have neighborhood busing.<\/p>\n
Here is the process in a nutshell:<\/p>\n
You apply, giving your 1st through 5th choices<\/p>\n
A bit of a lottery occurs, and students are given their choices, or put on a waiting list.<\/p>\n

The application period is from January \u00a07th to January 22nd<\/p>\n
