Today we talked a bit about memorial day, and read In Flanders Fields<\/em>:<\/p>\n In Flanders fields the poppies blow We are the Dead. Short days ago Take up our quarrel with the foe: <\/p>\n This led us on a talk about wars, world wars, nuclear weapons, and all sorts of stuff. \u00a0It was very interesting, if somewhat depressing and scary.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n After this we continued our review.<\/p>\n Tonight students should read this passage:<\/p>\n Whales<\/a><\/p>\n Just as they have been, they should answer the questions with reasoning, write a summary, analyze the text structure of a paragraph, and tell me a genre and sub-genre.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n In math we did more fraction operations review today. \u00a0We also started talking about volume!!<\/p>\n Tonight students should check all of their math sheets from this week. \u00a0They received the answers in class. \u00a0Anything they missed, they should re-do until they understand why they missed it, and how to do it correctly.<\/p>\n Students should also do pages 168-171 in the math coach. \u00a0It’s introductory volume stuff, and should be pretty straightforward.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n And read!<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Have a good one,<\/p>\n <\/p>\n -Mr. Potter<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" Just a very quick update today. \u00a0I have too many meetings to go to.
