Hello all,<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Just a few quick updates:<\/p>\n

I’m sorry about not updating yesterday. \u00a0My wife had a root canal and I was a tad\u00a0indisposed for the day. \u00a0I heard from the substitute that the students were fantastic, and I knew they would be.<\/p>\n

Next week is only three days long. \u00a0We have no school on Thursday or Friday. \u00a0Please don’t send your children on those days, as I will be eating an entire ham by myself at my house (I’m not the biggest fan of turkey).<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Today we did a good bit of work on our stories, and I like how these are looking. \u00a0We will finish these up next week.<\/p>\n

After that, we had a long day of review and quizzes. \u00a0We actually ran out of time and didn’t get to take our science quiz, but we watched a short video reviewing the digestive system. \u00a0It was TOTALLY weird and disgusting. \u00a0Be sure to ask them about it!<\/p>\n

Please remember that the next installment for the field trip of $16.00 is due next Wednesday. \u00a0To those that have already paid or paid in full, thank you very much.<\/p>\n

Conferences *should* be done. \u00a0I believe everyone who indicated that they would like to talk with me had a chance. \u00a0If you would like to talk with me again, or didn’t get a chance to, please let me know and we’ll work something out. \u00a0Also if there’s ever anything you would like to talk about concerning your child’s academic progress, please just let me know. \u00a0If it’s conference season or not, I’m still interested in talking about your student.<\/p>\n
