{"id":682,"date":"2015-02-04T20:19:13","date_gmt":"2015-02-04T20:19:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.mrpottersclassroom.com\/cms\/?p=682"},"modified":"2015-02-04T20:19:13","modified_gmt":"2015-02-04T20:19:13","slug":"homework-feb-4-wednesday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.mrpottersclassroom.com\/cms\/?p=682","title":{"rendered":"Homework Feb 4 (Wednesday)"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>What a beautiful day for fine dining!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Our kids have done so well in the cafeteria that today they won a &#8216;fine dining&#8217; experience with our principal, Mr. Zoller. \u00a0He was very impressed with how well behaved they were.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In math we started talking a good deal about equivalent fractions. \u00a0The students created their own set of fraction bars, and then we did a few exercises in finding equivalent fractions by lining our fraction bars up.<\/p>\n<p>Fraction bars:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mrpottersclassroom.com\/cms\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/fractionBars.pdf\">fractionBars<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Tonight students should use these to find a few equivalent fractions. \u00a0They should also write down their definition of equivalent.
