Hello all,

 

Just a few quick updates:

I’m sorry about not updating yesterday.  My wife had a root canal and I was a tad indisposed for the day.  I heard from the substitute that the students were fantastic, and I knew they would be.

Next week is only three days long.  We have no school on Thursday or Friday.  Please don’t send your children on those days, as I will be eating an entire ham by myself at my house (I’m not the biggest fan of turkey).

 

Today we did a good bit of work on our stories, and I like how these are looking.  We will finish these up next week.

After that, we had a long day of review and quizzes.  We actually ran out of time and didn’t get to take our science quiz, but we watched a short video reviewing the digestive system.  It was TOTALLY weird and disgusting.  Be sure to ask them about it!

 

Please remember that the next installment for the field trip of $16.00 is due next Wednesday.  To those that have already paid or paid in full, thank you very much.

 

Conferences *should* be done.  I believe everyone who indicated that they would like to talk with me had a chance.  If you would like to talk with me again, or didn’t get a chance to, please let me know and we’ll work something out.  Also if there’s ever anything you would like to talk about concerning your child’s academic progress, please just let me know.  If it’s conference season or not, I’m still interested in talking about your student.
